Who we are
An Army Veteran that discharged in 2019 with no idea of what he wants to do in life. Covid-19 hit and everything closed along with being laid off of work. Michael had a hard time of understanding what civilian life is like after serving in Afghanistan. Thanks to his fiancée he has found a purpose in life and that’s being a family man and working with stringed instruments. Michael started his journey in 2022, using the GI-Bill to attend Eastern School of Fretted Instrument Repair. He embraced that school with such passion and love for the teachers. Would recommend ESFIR to anybody looking for basic guitar repair experience. Next he was able to find and work under Bucks County Folks music in New Britain, PA. Bucks was able to open Michael’s eyes to all types of stringed instrument repair(banjo, mandolin, violin, autoharps, harps, and etc.) Bucks also achieved in getting Michael his Martin Guitars Warranty Certification under the Bucks County name. He misses Bucks so much<3. After working for Bucks, he traveled to Big Rapids, MI. to attend Galloup Guitar Building school. Michael thanks the school for giving him the grounds of where to start when it comes to building. After graduating the school, he strives to push the grounds of creativity/tradition when building. Finally Michael settles in Honesdale, PA which is only an hour from where he grew up in hopes to give the surrounding area phenomenal hand crafted instruments that play super smooth. #keepmusicPG
